YOUNG’S CONTINUES TO REVOLUTIONISE THE FROZEN FISH CATEGORY WITH LAUNCH OF SIMPLY BAKE

Young’s Seafood Ltd. is adding more vibrant products to its new ‘Simply’ portfolio with the launch of Simply Bake; a chef-inspired, hand-wrapped, deliciously healthy fish dish ready to cook straight from the freezer. 

Created to attract a younger, ‘foodie’ audience to the frozen category, the chef-inspired Simply Bake range is hand wrapped in paper – ‘En Papilotte’ – one of the easiest and best ways to cook fish and lock in flavour. Combining inspirational recipes, with the highest quality ingredients, consumers simply bake, unwrap and enjoy a healthy, high in protein meal that’s low in calories. 

 

Simply Bake will be launched first in Sainsbury’s with two variants – Cod Fillet with Sundried Tomatoes & Garlic Butter, served with Mediterranean vegetables, and Basa Fillet with Miso Dressing, served with peppers, pak choi, soy beans and spring onions. Baked in the oven, each meal is suitable for one person, and can be eaten on its own for a light, carb-free evening meal, or served with a side dish.

The new range is available now for MRSP £3.50 in Sainsbury’s stores nationwide.

 

The launch of Simply Bake follows the introduction of Simply Steam to the fish ready meals category; a range of tasty, low fat, high protein meals that can be cooked in the microwave in minutes.
