Ferrero is giving one lucky retailer the chance to win a sparkling store makeover, worth £4,000. The Christmas transformation will bring the community together to celebrate the festive period, and Ferrero will work with the winning store to tailor the prize to best cater for their community.

To enter the competition, retailers must be a member of the Ferrero trade hub, Your Perfect Store. Becoming a member will unlock a host of opportunities, from bespoke competitions to tailored POS, as well as the chance to be selected as Retailer of the Month.


Levi Boorer, Customer Development Director, comments: “We know how hard retailers work throughout the year and this competition is our way of giving something back to them and their local community. As documented year-on-year in the ACS Local Shop Report, the convenience store is one of the top three outlets to have the most positive impact on the local area. Through this latest campaign, we want to not only help the winning Your Perfect Store member to drive sales in the lead-up to Christmas, but also enhance community spirit with a few surprises to delight their customers.”


Community engagement is incredibly important to convenience stores, as a distinctive USP versus the grocery multiples. 81% of independent retailers engaged in some form of community activity in the past year[1].


Ferrero’s Your Perfect Store member, Atul Sodha at Londis Harefield reinforces the importance of supplier collaboration: “It creates excitement on the day, but more importantly we keep ourselves relevant to the customer. So on the next occasion that they’re thinking about needing anything from our store, they’re going to think about the fun they had the last time they came into our store.”


The winner of the last Ferrero sparkling store makeover, Pankkaj Sodha, who owns Sweet Selection in Liverpool Street, added: “New customers entered the shop that we hadn’t seen before, all commenting on how wonderful the window display looked. This resulted in new shoppers and a bigger sales opportunity for Sweet Selection.”


In addition to the store makeover, the winner will also receive three cases of Ferrero Rocher and three cases of Grand Rocher, to help get the season sparkling.
