RAGU REVAMPED AS SYMINGTON’S CONTINUES NPD DRIVE
Leading branded meal and snack manufacturer Symington’s has unveiled a distinctive contemporary new look and feel for its Italian American cooking sauce brand, Ragu. The brand has been completely rejuvenated with a new design, additional pouch pack format and four exciting new flavours to reflect trends in Italian American cooking.
The new cooking sauce pouches allow consumers to create an authentic Italian American restaurant experience at home in as little as two minutes in the microwave. Inspired by authentic flavours from the five boroughs of New York, the range consists of: Staten Island Tomato Chorizo & Chilli Sauce, Manhattan Creamy Tomato & Vodka Sauce, Queens Meat Feast Ragu and Brooklyn ‘Nduja Red Sauce.
Ragu has also enhanced its nutritionals. There is no added sugar, two of the new flavour variations are one of your five a day, all are gluten free and made with natural ingredients. Each of the four new flavours is currently available in Asda stores in ultra-convenient 250g pouches. MSRP £1.79.
