Metcalfe’s® popcorn launches new Disney Kitchen sharing bags
Leading popcorn brand Metcalfe’s® is to launch two new sharing bag size formats in late October, with the initial launch packs featuring characters from Disney•Pixar’s Incredibles 2. Alongside the characters that children and families know and love, the sharing bags will now also carry the Disney Kitchen logo and banner which includes nutritional information to help make balanced choices easier for parents.
The two new products mark the beginning of a new Disney Kitchen range by Metcalfe’s®, with further releases expected in the new year.
Available in the bestselling Sweet ‘n’ Salt and Cinema Sweet flavours, the new, larger sharing bags will weigh 120g and 115g respectively and, at just 96 calories, 3.4g and 3.6g of sugar per 20g serving, are ideal for family nights in.
The Disney Kitchen range by Metcalfe’s® aims to help families make more balanced snacking choices when they are planning at-home cinema occasions. All products that feature the Disney Kitchen banner meet Disney’s European nutritional guidelines which promote fruit, vegetables and wholegrain and set limits on sugar, salt, fats and portion sizes.

All of the Metcalfe’s popcorn range is veggie-friendly and gluten-free, and follows the 2018 launch of Metcalfe’s® Sweet Chilli flavour, joining Sweet ‘n’ Salt, Cinema Sweet and Sea Salt as part of the Metcalfe’s® range.
