JUICEBURST™ delivers social success with double the average engagement rate on ‘No-Nonsense Skills’ campaign!

Young people were invited to showcase their skills via a nationwide competition for the chance to win 100,000 social media views

Last month saw the JUICEBURST™ No-Nonsense Skills competition come to a close,following a brilliant campaign that delivered an engagement rates of double the industry average, reaching over 7.5million people.

Designed to change the often negative discourse surrounding young people, the campaign encouraged consumers to showcase their talents and skills through social media, to inspire others and champion the exceptional talents that often go unseen.

JUICEBURST™ shared the finalists entries on their Instagram page, letting the public influence the competition winners. Receiving the greatest engagement and over 28k views in the 48 hour voting window was the incredibly talented Hassy Beats , an 18 year old

music producer, who takes well known tunes puts his own twist on them. As the winner, JUICEBURST™ will help Hassy kick-start his social media career, with a guaranteed 100,000 social media views, as well as £500 in Amazon vouchers to support his skills. “Young people are out there doing incredible things and we wanted to create a platform for them to not only share their exceptional talents, but inspire one another,” says Carly Pacheco, Senior Brand Manager of the JUICEBURST™ campaign. “We saw some amazing entries including football, martial arts, surfing and skiing.”

To raise awareness of the campaign, JUICEBURST™ selected a range of young and exciting influencers, who are already using social media as a platform to share their skills. One of the key influencers, Alice Lean, is a Slalom Skater – an impressive form of inline freestyle skating, which requires a lot of training, stamina and confidence to perform. At the age of just 13, she’s already got a social following on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube and is inspiring others through her channels to share their skills, as well as competing all over the world. The roster of influencers also included some ‘outside the box’

skills, with slime maker Talisa Tossell, who has a Youtube following of 1.4 million subscribers, and street magician Ryan Tricks, who has 96k Facebook fans and has just landed his own BBC show.

“The campaign has exceeded our expectations, reaching over seven million people, with the videos attracting over 2.7 million views – and counting. We are incredibly proud to be driving this campaign and though the competition may have closed, we hope that young people will continue to use #NoNonsenseSkills to share their incredible talents, just like Alice Lean and Hassy Beats have done,” concludes Carly Pacheco.
