YOUNG’S EXTENDS ‘PROUDLY MADE IN BRITAIN’ PORTFOLIO
Following on from the success of Young’s ‘Proudly Made in Britain’ campaign, the nation’s number one fish and seafood business will add its ‘Proudly Made in Britain’ credentials to more products across the UK from mid-April.
Young’s market leading Young’s Admiral’s pie range and its iconic Young’s Chip Shop products*, including the number one SKU in frozen fish**, will see the credentials added to the front of the pack.
The new additions follow research by Young’s Seafood which showed seven in ten Brits would choose British-made products when given the choice. This sparked the brand’s campaign, which saw Young’s join the Made In Britain organisation*** with their esteemed ‘Made In Britain’ collective marque being placed onto its popular Fish Fingers packs.
Yvonne Adam, Marketing Director at Young’s Seafood Limited says: “Adding our ‘Proudly Made in Britain’ credentials to more products gives consumers more choice and reinforces our great British manufacturing story.”
John Pearce, Chief Executive of the not-for-profit organisation Made in Britain says: “Having seen Young’s first class British manufacturing site up close, we’re delighted that even more Young’s products will now make it really clear to consumers that this great food is being made to the very highest standards, right here, in Britain’.
