Snack brand Wild Trail today announced the launch of its new Carrot Cake snack bar. The new fruit, vegetable and nut bar is the fourth bar in the range and continues Wild Trail’s trend of using just five simple ingredients to create natural, balanced but indulgent-tasting snacks.
Wild Trail’s bars are designed to appeal to consumers looking for clean label, free-from and natural products to snack on-the-go and those with active lifestyles looking for a natural source of energy and sustenance.
The new ‘five-ingredient’ Carrot Cake bar is the first in the range to use cashews rather than peanuts and is also the first Wild Trail bar to feature a vegetable ingredient (100% dried carrot). These ingredients are mixed with raisins, gluten free oats and ground cinnamon to create a delicious and filling snack that is gluten and dairy free, high in fibre, vegetarian/vegan and with no added sugar.
Welsh brand Wild Trail launched last summer with its Apple, Cacao and Seed & Nut flavours. In the last twelve months the brand has seen its profile and sales increase as it gains listings in grocery retail and independents. The new Carrot Cake bar will sit with the rest of the range at RRP £1.00 (46g) and RRP £2.50 (4x30g).

Wild Trail’s bars are inspired by Snowdonia’s Craig yr Aderyn (Bird Rock) and are based on traditional trail mix recipes. The brand aims to create snacks for SIMPLE. OUTDOOR. ENERGY. and encourages people to get outdoors, get active and explore their own wild trail… wherever or whatever that may be. Wild Trail has partnered with a number of sports and outdoors events in 2017 including triathlon, mountain biking, swimming, running and orienteering.
