WALL’S SECURES LISTING FOR BREAKFAST TWIST
Addo Food Group has secured a major listing in a national supermarket for its product Breakfast Twist, part of its Wall’s Pastry range.
The Bacon and Egg flavoured Breakfast Twist will hit the shelves in 198 ASDA stores across the UK. The roll out into ASDA is a major breakthrough for the food manufacturer, which first entered the breakfast market back in November last year with its on-the-go breakfast product.
Available at a promotional price of £1.25 until July 3rd, the Bacon and Egg Breakfast Twist, R.R.P £1.75, comes with the addition of a tangy tomato sauce wrapped within an innovative microwavable flatbread that retains its texture when re-heated.
Addo made the move into the breakfast market following the culmination of an extensive usage and attitudes (U&A) research project undertaken by the UK food group where findings revealed that 59% of consumers eat breakfast out of home, but with many stating that they feel their options are limited and that there is a distinct lack of high protein breakfast options on the shelves.
