Raffaello invites the nation to Celebrate Summer in Style with a new on-pack promotion

Raffaello is helping the nation to get fashion ready this summer through a brand new on-pack promotion. Shoppers will be invited to enter the “Celebrate Summer In Style” competition for a chance to win an overnight stay in London and a £1,500 shopping experience for themselves and two friends (redeemable in both Westfield London shopping centres). There will be nine grand prizes – three per month from June – and 120 runner-up prizes offering £25 ASOS vouchers – the perfect way to celebrate the summer and update any summer wardrobe.

 

“Raffaello continues to grow year-on-year +25% £RSV[1] driven by distribution gains across our all-year-round portfolio and the introduction of incremental smaller token gifting formats,” comments Levi Boorer, Customer Development Director at Ferrero UK & Ireland. “We have been driving awareness of the brand amongst consumers and can see strong results with our brand awareness now sitting at a fantastic 74%[2] (+17ppts YOY).

 

“The Celebrate Summer in Style on-pack promotion will showcase Raffaello’s relevance all-year-round and celebrate the brand positioning of bringing friends together, in a way that resonates with consumers. When we tested promotional preference amongst our core consumer target (18-34 year old women), the overwhelming preference on the prize to be won was a shopping trip with their friends[3]. So that’s what we’re offering in T24abundance with a total of 134 possible prizes up for grabs!”

 

To enter, consumers simply have to purchase a promotional pack or go directly to the brand’s microsite www.raffaellosummer.com, where they will be invited to answer a competition question. Each response will be entered into a monthly prize draw across June, July and August. The site will be advertised online through social media, as well as digital displays in relevant press publications.

 

Retailers can further support the on-pack promotion in store with bespoke in-store displays, which can be ordered on Ferrero’s dedicated trade website: www.yourperfectstore.co.uk.

 

The campaign will be live across the T15 (£4.39 RRP) and T24 (£6.42 RRP) formats.
