Pringles Festive Flavours Return To Shelves
Pringles is returning with its much-loved range of Christmas flavours in a new gift wrap designed can.
This October, Xmas Turkey and Pigs in Blankets flavour Pringles will be back in stores by popular consumer demand.
The cans have a limited edition festive wrap design that features a gift tag on the packaging for consumers to personalise during the holidays.
For the first time the Christmas theme will appear on the Top Four SKU’s in the Pringles portfolio; Original, Sour Cream and Onion, Salt & Vinegar and Texas BBQ Sauce.
With 8.6 million households having Pringles in their cupboards during Christmas, Pringles is asking consumers on social media who they would like to #GetTogether with over Christmas encouraging consumers to share a picture of their festive cans for a chance to win a variety of prizes.
Pringles is supporting the Christmas activity with a full marketing campaign which includes store experiential and a four week TV campaign.
UK and ROI senior brand manager for Pringles, Rebecca Worthington, said; “Eighteen per cent* of shoppers would like to see more limited edition Christmas products to help them with their food and grocery shopping over the festive period.
“Our festive flavours are incremental to the category and that’s why Pringles has brought the limited edition flavours back for 2017, due to popular demand as we know consumers love them.”
Last year, Pigs in Blankets flavour Pringles ranked in the top quartile for sales with 25 per cent of sales from w/e 24th December**.
