KP NUTS EXPANDS WITH LAUNCH OF NEW KP SWEET CHILLI CASHEWS AND NEW SHARING SIZE NUT MIXES
KP Nuts, the UK’s favourite and best-selling nuts brand, is launching brand new KP Sweet Chilli Cashews and KP Sharing Nuts Mixes.
Tapping into the better for you trend and the growth of cashews as the second biggest nut type worth £58m and growing at +7.6%, KP Snacks has added to its successful cashews range with KP Sweet Chilli Cashews. Providing a natural source of fibre and protein, KP Cashews are also available in Salted and Honey Roast. With an RRP of £3.20, the entire range has been re-launched in stand-up packs to support visibility on shelf and provide differentiation from their successful range of peanut products.

KP Nuts is also launching new KP Sharing Nut Mixes to add to its successful on-the-go range which sold over three million packs in their first year. The new 120g sharing formats of their KP Fruit & Nut Protein Mix and KP Orange Nut Fudge Energy Mix (RRP £2.69), will bring scale to the growing segment of nut mixes. As both healthier and sharing occasions continue to grow, KP Nuts’ new Sharing Nut Mixes will help shoppers to make better choices as they snack at home as well as on-the-go, providing delicious natural sources of protein, fibre and vitamin B7.
Currently available in 40g and 50g on-the-go packs which are perfect for the meal in which 39% of shoppers would like to see nut included in this promotional mechanic. Both KP Fruit and Nut Energy Mix and KP Orange Nut Fudge Energy Mix have achieved excellent feedback in consumer testing with 75% of consumers agreeing that the KP Orange Nut Fudge Energy mix was better than current products available, and 90% of participants claiming they would consider buying KP Fruit and Nut Energy mix.
The new KP Sweet Chilli Cashews, KP Cashews stand up packs and KP Sharing Nuts Mixes will be available from 15 July 2018.
The launch of these new products and formats will continue to drive growth in KP Nuts, which is currently a £58m brand, six times larger than its nearest competitor, growing at 7.6%1.
The launch of these new KP Nuts will be supported with a £2m Summer campaign, which will include TV, Out of Home and social and digital.
